Photo ID
The usual flow is one image at a time: you choose the picture, the app proposes a ranked set of candidates, and you pick. Location and date usually narrow the candidates, because a model that knows you are in Devon in January can discard most of the plausible-looking matches.
This is different from scanning a library. Photo ID assumes you have already found the photograph you care about. If the finding is the hard part — because the bird is somewhere in four years of camera roll — you want a library scan instead.
